  • your top requirements in a candidate
 Candidates want to know what they will do day-to-day. Being specific about everyday tasks will help to attract candidates who will be motivated in the role. 
  • What is the role there to do?
  • How does it fit into your business?
  • What are the key tasks and responsibilities?
 What’s in it for the candidate? This is one of the most powerful sections of your ad. Don’t forget the little things that make life easier. 
  • What’s great about the work environment?
  • Are there shops, parks, or transport nearby?
  • What’s the work/life balance like?
  • Are there opportunities to grow and develop?
 Candidates want to know what they need to demonstrate. Too many requirements can discourage a quality candidate, so focus on what’s central to the role. 
  • What are the key skills required?
  • What are the top 3 or 4 strengths or qualities?
  • What kind of experience are you looking for?
 Let them know what to do next. A strong call to action helps push already engaged candidates to click ‘Apply for this job’. 
  • Would you prefer a CV or a cover letter?
  • Are there any specific questions you want covered?
  • Can you provide contact details for any queries?
